The staff was friendly and helpful. the bedroom decor featured a modern twist on traditional styles, which i found both cozy and elegant. i also enjoyed excellent breakfast choices that set a positive tone for each day.
i noticed some areas that could benefit from a deeper clean, particularly around the entrance of the pub dining area, as there was an unpleasant smell.

superb welcomeawful smelluninspiring food selection
the welcome at check-in was superb, and i was shown to my room with all the necessary information.
i stayed for two nights in a superior king room. upon arrival, i found an awful smell, a mix of damp, drains, and stale odors. despite reporting it, the smell persisted, and the offered reed diffuser did little to improve the situation. the restaurant menu also disappointed me with its uninspiring food selection for the price.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. I liked alana and callum especially! the rooms are well appointed for doing hair, with mirrors and sockets in the right places. Also the rooms have character. breakfast was the best!

The room overlooked a lovely church, such a pretty view. The bathroom stood out because it included excellent toiletries and luxuriously soft towels. The staff member at the front desk was very helpful. She allowed me to check in early without any problems. Breakfast had a lot of delicious options and was included, proving great value.
The restaurant specials were mostly unavailable, but i found alternatives on the menu.
